Tourism at Koli
In addition to being a beautiful scene for the marathon race every autumn, Koli area offers a very diverse nature retreat and services for travellers. The most famous national landscape in Finland has inspired artists, symbolized Finnishness and attracted guests since the late 19th century.

How to get to Koli?
Arriving from overseas? Koli is about 6 hours drive from Helsinki, 1½ hours from Kuopio, an hour from Joensuu. You can also come by train or plane to Joensuu and take a shuttle taxi to Koli.
In 2019 Pohjolan Matka offers bus offers bus tours from Helsinki, Turku, Tampere, Jyväskylä, Kuopio, Oulu and Lappeenranta on Friday to Koli and takes the same route back on Sunday. Travelling by bus, you will be privileged to get your race material alreadyn in the bus. Take a look at the schedules and book now!
